The area, located in the charming village of Les Mesnuls, near Rambouillet, is a site of major natural heritage value. It spans 28 hectares and is classified as a “Zone of Ecological, Faunal and Floristic Interest.”
The Association de la Vallée de la Millière, established by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, spearheads a project focused on the restoration of the natural environment, aiming to revive nature and biodiversity. The goal is to facilitate the return of wild and living species to an area that has experienced ecological damage, particularly due to human activity.
